I have two experiences to share about Dr. Rhiju. Six years ago, I had a rotator cuff tendon tear on my right shoulder. I live in Atlanta, USA and consulted with one of the doctors around here. They took MRI and told me that surgery is the only option. I didn’t opt for surgery because I was traveling to Kerala. Based on the recommendation from my neighbor I went to the Santhigiri hospital and met Dr. Rhiju. He prescribed a 10-day in-house treatment. The pain disappeared in about 3 months. I simply couldn’t believe that Ayurveda can be so effective! I still remember what the surgeon had told me: “there is no way the tendon can stick to the bone by itself unless it is stitched together!” Well, I don’t blame him because he probably has never heard about Ayurveda!
My second experience with Dr. Rhiju is very recent. This time I had pain in my left shoulder, which started about a year ago. So last December I went to Dr. Rhiju again. He said it is a minor injury and asked me to come to the hospital for a one-hour treatment for 7 days. The pain has already been reduced considerably, and I feel I am on a path to recovery.
I don’t know how to thank Dr. Rhiju and his staff for the treatment and care. He is one of the best Ayurveda doctors that I have known and would highly recommend him to everyone.
