She completed her graduation (B.A.M.S.) in 1987 from Government Ayurveda College Thiruvananthapuram. Immediately after graduation she started her career as a physician in Santhigiri Hospital Complex, Pothencode. She has been discharging services in various medical facilities of Santhigiri Healthcare & Research Organization for the last 37 years. During this broad period of time she gathered profound knowledge and expertise in Panchakarma therapy and Marma therapy.
She also worked as a faculty in Prasoothithanthra and Sthreeroga (Gynecology and Obstetrics) in Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College Palakkad in between.
